Dr. Thompson is the greatest. I've been going to Chiropractors for thirty years and I've never been as happy with any of them. Very professional...very good people skills...I recommend her to everyone.

I've known her for many years. My wife went to her for massage therapy, and I've gone mostly for acute problems. I really like the way that she treats the whole person...she takes time to listen and is always warm and attentive. I've never left her office and not felt better than when I came in.

She's the best. I was in an accident last June that left me with a lot of pain. Her treatments may have saved my business. I'm on my feet all day, and in fact one of my clients referred me to Dr. Thompson. She really took great care of me.

I've been with Beverly for many years...I used to go to her for massage therapy and now for Chiropractic. One thing I like about her is her communication skills. I thinks that's very important. She asks questions and takes the time to listen. I recommend her very highly.

These pictures were taken at a typical office visit.
The initial visit begins with a thorough history of overall health, eventually focusing on your main area of discomfort or concern. We will go over any past accidents, surgeries, general health issues and chronically painful areas.

The examination includes range of motion measurements, posture analysis, and orthopedic tests focusing on your trouble spots.

Gentle palpation of the back begins at the neck and head area. We also go through a passive range of motion test of the cervical spine.

The shoulders, neck and upper back are often a source of chronic tension and discomfort. Chiropractic care can often alleviate these symptoms entirely.

Your back is examined in the face-down position. We move down the length of the spine from neck to hips, carefully checking each vertebral level for any misalignments. We also palpate muscles to check for tension and areas of discomfort.

The Directional Non-Force Technique includes a special leg check before any chiropractic adjustments are performed. Shoes with flat heels are used to visually aid the doctor in determining discrepancies in leg length. And besides, these shoes look so attractive on all of my patients!

Finally the actual adjustment is done with gentle, highly directional thumb thrusts at the the levels where your spine needs correction or re-alignment. We also check muscles and ligaments, to bring all involved structures into balance. The chiropractic adjustment leaves the patient aligned and relaxed ...and feeling much better.

I hope that you've enjoyed being a fly on the wall for this exam and adjustment. I look forward to meeting you. Don't worry, the camera man is no longer lurking around the office.
